LLC
Financial Freedom Associates has changed from a sole proprietor to a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC).  We have enclosed a new Privacy Policy and Disclosure Brochure.  The Disclosure Brochure gives a summary of the company and contains all the same information as the ADV II.  At your request, we can send you the ADV II form as well.  Our operations will continue as they have.  This is an administrative change to allow Bill into the company.  Additional information regarding this change is on the back.

Thanks to a new law that became effective nationwide this year, you can get a free copy of your credit report each year by visiting:
www.annualcreditreport.com or calling 1-877-322-8228.

Socially Responsible Companies
At www.responsibleshopper.org you can investigate hundreds of companies on a variety of issues, including: corporate influence, sweatshops, pollution, ethics, and discrimination.  It reports on the bad and the good done by these companies.  This can help you make more informed investment decisions.

AZ Organ Donor
For Arizona residences, you can register to have your organs donated after death at:  www.azdonorregistry.org

Money Link
Schwab allows you to create a link between your Schwab account and a bank account to easily move money between them.  You can set up regular transfers or do single transfers.  Let us know if you would like this option activated.

E-Confirms
Schwab is now offering electronic transaction confirmation statements and prospectuses (when available).  Let us know if you would like to these through email instead of paper.  You will still get your monthly statements by regular mail.  Schwab expects that by the end of the year they will offer electronic statements as well.

We have several tools for investigating individual stocks, mutual funds, and other investments.  Please let us know if there is a stock, industry, or other investment you are interested in and we’d be glad to investigate it and provide you with information.

What a difference a day makes---
On Sunday, June 12th, I had the opportunity to go by ambulance to the Emergency Room to find that I had a kidney infection.  Along with that, on Saturday I had been painting my bedroom and, of course, I had to move some furniture.  So I also did some strain and sprain in my back.

So, what have I learned?
   It takes longer to heal than it did when I was 20.
   Some things that seem so matter of fact to me, like moving furniture, may need to be done by someone else.
   Patience is not easy to come by when I am wanting to feel better now and do what I want to do now.
   I have a new respect for people who live in constant pain.
   I am really blessed with love and support around me.
   The system is in place for the business to flow well without me.

I have cancelled my trip back east for now, can’t imagine sitting in a plane all day, and rolling luggage around the country!  And we will be doing some minimal appointments locally during that time along with conferencing the east coast clients.

Everyday I see major improvement and I feel I am under the care of some good Eastern and Western medical professionals.  I am sure there will be more learnings to come and for now just wanted to catch you up!

While there is no name change, the ownership change will constitute an “assignment” of your Asset Management Agreement with FFA (the “Contract”) under federal securities regulations.  We are providing you with this notice in accordance with the regulations of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the terms of your Contract to permit you to consent to the assignment of your Contract.  By consenting to this assignment and approving the sub-advisory agreement, you will ensure that our Contract with you to provide investment advisory services continues without interruption after the closing of the transaction.  We will also be providing notification to the custodian of any assets held at Schwab to insure business continuity and servicing of your account(s).  

Please note: If you do not respond within thirty days of the date of this letter, FFA will assume that you have consented to the assignment of your Contract and your Contract will be assigned.
